Another first class attraction is located in the heart of northern Italy, near Lake Garda and its name is the Gardaland amusement park. The park was opened in 1975 and it lies in Castelnovo del Garda between Lazise and Peschiera. In the year 2000 it celebrated its 25th anniversary. When you visit this vast amusement park, wich reminds of Disney World, you should have enough time. Many attractions expect the visitors and among carousels and roller coasters one will quickly forget the everyday stress.
Even at the entrance gates you are welcomed by the dragon "Prezzemolo", next to which you will find horse carousel. An exciting safari tour (Tunga the Monkey Man), a visit to the wild Corsairs and “Valle dei Re ", Adventures in Pharaoh's temple are also recommended as much as the seal and dolphin shows. Sufficient snack stands and shade-giving trees occasionally provide for strengthening and relaxation. Gardaland becomes richer in some more attractions from year to year. Thus came the Gardaland Fantasy Kingdom in 2001, in 2002 there appeared the Mad House, the Prezzemolo tree - House and Fantasy on Ice. The latest attraction is the Fuga de Atlantide, a mysterious world that carries visitors away back to the Atlantis times. The largest amusement park in Italy is an attraction for tourists, as well as for locals and school-children.
The ticket price between 21 and 24 € currently appears too expensive, but if you all have seen these great attractions this is quickly forgotten. One can rightly say, "Gardaland is worth a trip"!
