Wataniya Airways flies to Venice

Flights to Venice are being expanded with a new route: Kuwait-based Wataniya Airways is flying to Venice in cooperation with Austrian airline Austrian Airlines. The new flights to Venice are part of the new European routes Wataniya Airways will add to its schedule. In total, Wataniya Airways will add ten new European destinations to its route network.

Wataniya Airways flights to Europe always connect via Vienna Airport

The new European destinations Wataniya Airways will serve in cooperation with Austrian Airlines are Munich, Hamburg, Bologna, Rome, Berlin, Amsterdam, Graz, Lyon, Nice and Venice. With these ten additional European destinations, the airline’s network will grow to a total of 29 destinations in Europe, served from Kuwait via Vienna Airport.

Wataniya Airways passengers will be able to check their luggage directly through to their destination at check-in at the terminal at Sheikh Saad Airport. From Kuwait, their luggage will then be automatically forwarded via Vienna to their chosen airport in Europe. Wataniya Airlines flies the route between Kuwait and Vienna three times a week.

The world is growing ever closer, as is evident from Wataniya Airways’ new flights via Vienna in cooperation with Austrian Airlines. Experience suggests that various airlines will make further announcements in the coming weeks and months about new routes within and beyond Europe. Numerous new flight connections are sure to be offered by airlines for the upcoming 2011 summer schedule—including flights to Venice.
