Bibione offers you various ways to shape your stay on the coast: an accessible beach by the sea, the Bibione Thermae thermal centre and cycling routes through dunes, pine forest, river landscapes and lagoon areas. When choosing your accommodation, you can therefore consider whether you primarily want to experience the coast, include wellness in your plans or use Bibione as a starting point for cycling tours.

Four kilometres of accessible beach

From Lido dei Pini to Bibione Lido del Sole, Bibione has four kilometres of accessible beach. Access paths to the sea can be used by wheelchair users, and accessible service islands are also available. This stretch of beach provides a clear option for travellers who want to combine a stay by the sea with access that takes specific needs into account.

At the same time, Bibione remains a destination where a coastal stay can be combined with other, clearly distinct experiences.

Thermal water and wellness at Bibione Thermae

Bibione Thermae offers a spa and wellness centre with indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpools, thermal showers, saunas and Turkish baths. The indoor pools operate with water maintained at a constant temperature of 33 to 34 °C. This allows you to give your stay a focus on thermal water and wellness in addition to the beach.

Bibione’s thermal spring emerges just a few steps from the sea at a temperature of 50 °C. Travellers who want to include water experiences beyond the beach in their plans will find here a distinct aspect of Bibione that differs from its cycling and nature offerings.

By bike to Faro di Bibione and beyond

The circular route at Faro di Bibione passes through fossil dunes, river embankments and a pine forest. Along the way, you may encounter local birds, green lizards and rare turtles. The area around Faro di Bibione can be reached from Via Procione via an easy-to-ride, shaded cycle route or along a cycle path between the beach and the pine forest.

For longer excursions, the Gira Tagliamento cycle route starts at Faro di Bibione. It reaches San Michele al Tagliamento and continues to the village of Alvisopoli. Another option is the La Brussa e la Vallevecchia route, which leads from Bibione to the La Brussa natural area and the protected ValleVecchia lagoon area. Depending on your preferred direction, you can therefore choose between a loop around the lighthouse, a ride along the Gira Tagliamento cycle route and a ride towards the lagoon landscape.

Which location is right for your stay?

The offerings described place different emphasis on different experiences. The beach area is suited to planning a trip focused on the sea and accessible facilities, Bibione Thermae on thermal water and wellness, while the cycling routes put nature and landscapes at the centre. When searching for a hotel or other accommodation, consider which of these focuses should shape your days. For further orientation on the portal, you can also visit the page on Bibione Pineda.
