Carnival in Venice
Each year Venice holds a 12-day carnival. Thousands of tourists from all over the world visit the capital of the Veneto to witness this impressive spectacle. Quite unlike a German Carnival, it is not the volume which is very strong, but the fantastic shapes, gentle violin sounds like in a fairy tale moving the entire city. A journey into the city during the Carnival in Venice is a very special holiday, even weeks earlier, nearly all holiday homes, apartments and other accommodations are booked, just because at this time there are too many tourists in Venice, as nowhere else. A unique attraction, the Doge's palace near the boat investor, even the tourists here look like wonderful characters with their imaginative masks on.
